E Condos Progress at Yonge and Eglinton
If you haven’t been to our new corner in a few months, expect some big changes next time you head to Yonge and Eglinton. Our demolition is complete and the corner that was once a low-rise plaza is now our home, and we’re just getting started!
We currently are at the boring stage of the project, and no, we’re not referring to the least exciting stage. The boring machine is digging down and removing the perimeter basement walls of the demolished buildings. This stage of work is a slow process, and we’ve worked hard to develop engineered procedures that will ensure that we do not to affect the structural integrity of the adjacent buildings.
Although it’s a slow process, we’re progressing every day and this stage looks to be moving ahead on schedule as of now. If all goes to plan, we look to complete this work at within the next couple of weeks.
